VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING
CAREER INDUSTRY COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA
Australia is going through the most significant disruption in the world of work since the Industrial Revolution. For the next generation there are huge implications. Students need to be equipped with the skills for tomorrow through the provision, today, of the training they need. Vocational Education and Training is one of the most progressive forms of education, preparing students for emerging industries and occupations. It is in touch with the realities of the current and future employment market, being, as it is, entirely driven by the employment market.
