IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
From 2019, Australian Universities have been directed to USE A COMMON LANGUAGE with reference to students applying to places in University.
One of the changes will be that the various terms used by Universities for ‘Bonus Points' will be changed to a universal term of ‘Adjustment Factors' under which there are a number of categories.
Also, the term ‘Cut-Off' will be replaced by the term ‘Lowest Selection Rank'.
Prospective students should be able to readily identify the courses that will lead them to the career opportunities they seek, to apply for admission to those courses that will lead them to the career opportunities they seek, and to apply for admission to those courses in a more informed way.
Students will be able to identify the full range of entry criteria, prerequisites, additional assessments and tests needed to be accepted in each course.
It will be easier for students to find out about the range of academic and non-academic supports available to them at each institution, together with the financial and other relevant information to make their choices.
It is anticipated that students being accepted by institutions into subsidized higher education courses have the ambitions, the attributes and the necessary information and support to succeed at their studies and complete their qualifications via easier access to comprehensive and readily comparable information about the full range of study options, entry criteria and application processes at all registered Australian Higher Education Providers.
