- Year 12 – The ATAR and APPLYING FOR UNI – http://www.uac.edu.au/documents/publications/All-about-ATAR+uni.pdf
- Year 12 – UAC DOES NOT HAVE AN ATAR CALCULTOR, NOR DO THEY ENDORSE ANY THAT MIGHT BE IN USE. After the release of the ATARs UAC receives many calls from students, who are disappointed in their ATAR because the ‘ATAR calculator told them it would be higher'. STUDENTS USING ATAR CALCULATORS NEED TO REMEMBER THAT THOSE CALCULATIONS ARE BASED ON DATA FROM THE PREVIOUS YEARS, WHICH MIGHT BE QUITE DIFFERENT TO DATA FROM THE YEAR THEY RECEIVE THEIR ATAR. Also, another important ATAR note is that if the NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA) provides UAC with amended HSC results, the student's ATAR will be automatically recalculated and MAY DECREASE www.uac.edu.au
