On Wednesday 3rd May the TAS faculty hosted the University of Wollongong's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Roadshow.
All Year 7 and 8 students attended the Roadshow and participated in a variety of hands on STEM activities including bottle rockets, balsa plane flights, Bridge making and testing, 3D printing, cell extraction, driver simulation activities and water experiments. STEM education and exposure to learning activities involving STEM is an important component of 21st Century learning. Students enjoyed the experiences on the day and were engaged in all activities.
